Dr. Stefan Funkner is a physicist and staff scientist at the Institute for Beam Physics and Technology (IBPT) at KIT. His research focuses on data-driven modeling and mathematical methods in accelerator physics, particularly ultrafast beam diagnostics, phase-space tomography, and inverse problems.  His scientific background includes mathematical physics, terahertz spectroscopy, and nonlinear Raman spectroscopy.
