The annual KCDS Retreat took place from November 10-12, 2025 at Naturfreundehaus Kniebis in the middle of the relaxing environment of the Black Forest.

The retreat was offered exclusively to members of the graduate school and focused on scientific exchange and social activities such as group games, yoga and hiking.

Also, new organizational teams for the upcoming KCDS events in 2026 were formed and the Doctoral Researcher Representatives (DRR) for the academic year 2025/26 were elected.
